Tony Gerber will be performing live in real life as part of Electro Music Festival 2008 in Kingsport, TN, August 14 - 16. He will also perform with his group, SPACECRAFT, as well as give a workshop on Music in Second Life..
We proudly announce electro-music 2008, a three day conference/music festival to be held at the Renaissance Center in Kingsport Tennessee, August 14 - 16, 2008. The program will include lectures, demos, jam sessions, and concerts.
The scope of this festival is very broad, covering all aspects of electro-music, experimental electronic music, including circuit bending, computer music, electro-jazz, modular synthesis, musique concrete, improvisation, algorithmic composition, multi-media, visual art and much more. The focus will be on participant involvement, sharing, community development, audience education, and great music.

Tony Gerber is Cypress Rosewood in Second Life. As part of the Gibson Island continuing support of live music in Second Life, Cypress will be continuing his weekly Ambient World Sunday series in the newly created Gibson Planet performance venue on Gibson Island. This series find Cypress performing with his musical peers in SL and also joined by a guest visual artist for festival of creativity not to be missed.
