"ALTAMIRA"

I have completed, in my home studio, "Spacelab", my most recent solo ambient electronic album entitled Altamira. It is now available as a CD from Space for Music Records.

The photograph used for the front cover of the CD is by Nashville photographer, Jeff Frazier.

The first completed song on the project is entitled "Jurassic Rain" and was included on the "Soundscape Gallery: series one" compilation CD released January 1st, 1997.

"Altamira" showcases the guitar a little more than my previous solo work "Blue Western Sky". I have been working on whole new set of sound palettes to compose with. My recently acquired Waldorf Microwave synthesizer will make it's debut as will the Memorymoog and Roland JD800. The music of "Altamira" reaches back to a time of prehistory, creating sonic atmospheres to help you travel through time in your own mind.
