A homage to live musical soundtrack performance in the motion picture theatre like it was in the 1920s. Space for Music Records offers the unique and "of the moment" music of SPACECRAFT in the Historic Kentucky Theatre, built in the 1920s for a one-time performance of the newly reconstructed release of the 1927 silent film classic by Fritz Lang, Metropolis, on Thursday, April 24th, 2003 at 8:00 PM.
After an incredible Metropolis performance was caught on digital tape last December, watch for the Double CD release of "Music for Metropolis" from SPACECRAFT coming in 2003!

SPACECRAFT is the continually evolving collaborative creativity of Tony Gerber, John Rose and Diane Timmons. Rotating members include Giles Reaves and performing in the Metropolis show, Todd Gerber, Tony's younger brother. They have been performing live "of the moment" music for the past 6 years in theatres, galleries, museums and planetariums. Their musical art even showed up in a Paramount Picture's film called "Vanilla Sky", out of Hollywood in 2001. This is a wonderful opportunity bringing together the musical work of SPACECRAFT to rejuvenate classic film imagery from the silent film era with exciting sounds from the 21st century. Tickets will be $10 at the door.
