Rob started playing drums at a very early age, working with several acts during these early years including Tanya Tucker and Wang Chung. He learned a lot from playing along with records as a kid. He continued playing in school and when the opportunity to tour with one of the biggest RAVE Tours of the time (Moby, Aphex Twin, Orbital,etc.), he left school and took the opportunity. Upon returning from this tour, he met Todd Gerber and soon formed several musical projects together, Dinah Shore, Jr. being one of them. Since that time, each musical step has been forward. R. Mitchell holds a mean drum groove to the loops of DSJ. |
