RELEASED AUG. 1999
RELEASED NOV. 1998
DEBUT RELEASE JUNE 1997

A recording by SPACECRAFT ("HUMMEL:Live") was originally released on Lektronic Soundscapes from the live show in October of '97 at the Hummel Planetarium. This was one of their finest live performances. It was hailed by critics worldwide.

Don't miss this great performance by Spacecraft (Tony Gerber, John Rose and Diane Timmons).

This music reflects a direct inspiration from excitement shared by space enthusiasts, astral thinkers, and the common man, who have achieved a galactic state of consciousness in these latter days of the 20th century. "Spacecraft" will transport you to places reserved for the astral travelers and the world of sub-space beings. We present this collection of recordings to help put your mind in a frame of reference to explore the transforming possibilities of our people, our planet, our solar system and our universe.

David Turner, or Digital Dave as we call him, is an award-winning digital artist and animator. He asked SPACECRAFT to create an original soundtrack to his wonderful animations of kaleidascope and mandala like movements which were recently released and premiered for the Parthenon Concert in Nashville, TN and in Amsterdam, Holland in November of 1999.

If you haven't experienced the music of Spacecraft, then this is a great first CD. It includes some of their best works from the 4 CD releases of the 1990s. Climb aboard the sonic spacecraft and travel to worlds that provide a catalyst for the imagination.

This CD is the result of a "live concert" as part of the "World Peace through Reverence for Life" conference in the fall of 2000. Spacecraft created a sonic environment for prayer and meditation at the Unitarian Church in Nashville on a Sunday afternoon honoring Albert Schweitzer and J.S. Bach who had tremendous "Reverence for Life." Tony Gerber, Giles Reaves, John Rose and Diane Timmons.

With the introduction of electronic sounds, our tonal sensitivity is evolving. We are learning not to judge new sounds as evil and uncharged. We are living in a period where technology is creating new standards. As with all evolving forms of life, what is needed will be kept. What is of no use will atrophy. Truly, new spatial and ambient sounds are being produced which could not have been imagined at the turn of the century. It will take the masters of the age to perfect and explore these sounds with the dignity and ethics necessary for human development.
