Sign of Commune de Gruyeres showing top view of chateau and village.

I would also like to note that I neglected to get the name of
the artist who painted the painting at the right. If anyone sees
this work and knows the artist please contact me with the correct
information. His work had a dark feeling that felt appropriate
for display in this Chateau Gruyeres.

of original painting which has been restored.

This painting was one of several on exhibit by a modern day painter.
It symbolizes the feelings of this mystical chateau Gruyeres.
Chateau Gruyeres is famous for it's double cream and the Gruyeres
Cheese. Next to Apenzeller cheese, Gruyeres was my favorite. The
cream of this region is so thick it won't even come out of the
cup when turned upside down.
